Happy Shopping!
~Ann
So I shop on Sunday afternoons. You should post earlier :) I'm not as good at matching deals and coupons as you
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the deal on greeting cards!! No more $0.99 ones, but I think the $1.49's work :) If I remember correctly you get a $5 instant credit wyb 3?
ReplyDeleteI would like to have the match-ups before Sunday, but I am not able to get an early copy of the sales flyer. (Believe me I have tried.) I try not to get on the computer or blog on Sunday so that I can attend church and spend the day with my family.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder about the card deal. I knew I was forgetting something. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your blog! I look forward to it and it is a great help to me!!
ReplyDeleteBecky
Just noticed your area has the 90% beef on sale, ours is the 85% and at $2.49 and I've seen 85% for $1.99 so not the best I've seen here.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Becky! I am glad you found me. I hope my blog is a help to you. Feel free to leave me a comment with any questions you have.
ReplyDeleteWWadeII - I generally use $1.99 as my price point for the 85% ground beef. I felt like the $2.99 for the ground sirloin was a decent deal and the leaner beef is better for you - although the 85% makes better hamburgers. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Ann,
ReplyDeleteJust an FYI - my Egglands best coupon is for $0.55, so $1.10 after doubling, making the eggs $0.78! Guess that was a regional thing....
Thanks for everything!
~ Andrea
Andrea - yes it must be a regional thing about the coupon value for the Eggland's Best Eggs. It sounds like you are in an area that doubles up to $0.99. The Martin's in my area only double up to $0.50. Here is a post for more details about Martin's coupon policy in my area.

Well, go figure, no eggs in stock, and no idea when they will have any :( No Nestle milk either...but I did get some GREAT deals!
ReplyDelete~Andrea
Yeah Ann you have to have a little fat in the burgers to get that juicy flavor profile. Now I hungry for burgers.
ReplyDeleteWWadeII - I know, I have tried the leaner beef with milk or eggs to add moisture and they just aren't as good as a burger made with fatty ground beef. :) I do like the leaner beef for things like tacos or meatloaf.
ReplyDeleteAndrea - don't forget that you can always ask them when they are expecting to get more or see if they have more in the back. I have gotten to know a lot of the stockers at the stores where I shop and I am learning when they restock or expect a new delivery.
ReplyDeleteAnn - thank you so much for your blog! I'm in the Richmond area, and it's wonderful to have Martin's Coupon match-ups! I follow Southern Savers for drugstore coupons, but she doesn't post for Martin's. Thank you for saving me and my family money each week. -- Amy
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading Amy. I am always so happy to hear that my efforts are saving others money each week. I usually check out Money Saving Mom for my drugstore deals - I will have to start checking out Southern Savers as well.
