  1. Hi, I am very new at this and am a little confused about the catilina coupons from Question is do I have to have different transaction for each coupon? The manager said I would have to. The coupons state no similar coupons used in same purchase, but they are clearly different. The amounts and the items that need to be purchased. Was she correct or did I almost have an anxiety attach for nothing. I had to do 5 transactions today and was not prepared for it. Thanks for your website it is very helpful. Sarah

  2. Sarah -

Welcome! I am glad that you found found my site and that is helping you.

I don't know that I actually understand your question.

I think you are possibly asking if you can use multiple catalina coupons as payment in the same transaction. That depends on the promotion and the fine print on the coupons. Some catalinas clearly state on the face of the catalina coupon limit one per transaction, so even if you earned two $2 catalinas from a similar promotion you can only redeem them one per transaction.

The other thing I think you may be asking is about earning multiple catalinas. The deal that I posted last week about the Kotex was surprisingly printing a $2 catalina for every two Kotex products I bought early in the week. But, that was before the catalina deal was suppose to be even working. It is my understanding that beginning on Friday, 9/9/11 the deal started to print the way I originally thought it would - if you bought two products you earned a $2 catalina, if you bought 3 or more products in one transaction you earned a $2.50 catalina.

Catalina deals can be tricky because the catalina company can pull or change what is printing at anytime. They are an outside company and if something is suppose to print and doesn't the store really can't correct it.

I hope that makes sense - if I still didn't answer your question feel free to drop me another note. :)
