Check out Money Saving Mom for my MARTIN’S top deals in addition to top deals for other grocery stores, drug stores, and discount stores from other deal seekers.
If an item is part of the weekly fuelperks! deals I list the final price as if you buy the necessary quantity of just that item in order to receive the deal (if you have to buy 7 I list the final price after sale, coupons, and fuel discount as if you bought 7 of that one item). That is not what you have to do in order to receive the fuelperks! rewards. You can mix & match any of the items listed in the same category. This may make you out of pocket higher if you add in items of various cost, but in the long run you are hopefully buying items that your family can use and redeeming your fuelperks! towards saving money at the gas station.
Here are what I consider to be the top deals this week at MARTIN’S. I verify the coupons that I mention with what I receive in my local paper, the Richmond Times-Dispatch (RTD). Coupons are regional so you may not have the exact same coupon or the same face value. Remember what I consider to be a good deal and what you consider to be a good deal may differ. Please feel free to leave me a comment with any deals that you find.

Buy any 2 Ricola products get a FREE box of Our Own Brand Facial Tissue. There was a buy one get one coupon the 10/9/11 paper on Ricola products!
ReplyDeleteAnn, there was a little "oops we made an error" sign by the cereal yesterday~ it said that the GM cereal is not $2.59, it is varying prices. I saw it anywhere from $2.50 to $4.19.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about the cereal sale, we're out of cereal, and I've been waiting for a good deal! Cereal is my go-to breakfast for Sunday mornings, so getting everyone out the door on time has been a challenge:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the tip Jayme!
ReplyDeleteI had it circled in my ad, but forgot to type it up.
I don't have my coupons with me at the moment, but according to the coupon database I use it was in the 10/2 SmartSource and it is for a free bag of Ricola when you buy a Ricola Dual action.
Has anyone tried this deal or know how much the Ricola dual action drops cost?
Thanks Lissa - I have been home with sick kids and haven't had a chance to go to the store.
ReplyDeleteI think that the small box of Cheerios should be about $2.59. It is still a great deal when you factor in the gallon of milk. ;)
Jessica - Cereal is my go-to almost every morning! I give Michael (my 14 month old) dry cereal almost every morning that we have to be somewhere - which is at least 3 mornings a week. I fix myself and my girls dry cereal with dried fruit and sometimes slivered almonds in a baggie to eat in the car. It is also great to mix with yogurt for a quick homemade parfait.
ReplyDeleteYoplait yogurt is on sale...10/$5.50. Buy 20, get $2 off your next purchase (Catalina print out) Use 2 $1/10 yoplait coupons for $2 off this purchase. Also, $3 goes to Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. It makes each yogurt about $.35/each...plus the $$ that goes to Pink!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anonymous! I haven't been able to hit the store yet this week, but it was in last week's ad and here is the info from last week:
ReplyDelete•Yoplait Yogurt Cups (4-6oz) – $0.55 each
◦Buy 10 and use $1/10 from 9/11 or 10/2 General Mills Insert
◦Buy 20 in one transaction and get a catalina coupon for $2 off your next order.
◦$0.35 each sale, coupon, and catalina savings
A few things to report:
ReplyDeleteHoney Nut cheerio's, Trix (and 1 more kind that I can't recall...lucky charms maybe?) were on sale for $2.50
Also, it seems there's an Ore-ida catalina running. I bought 3 bags- 2 curly fries, 1 tator tot- and received $1 OYNO coupon. According to the catalina coupon 3 should have produced a $2 coupon, so I'm thinking maybe the tator tots weren't part of the catalina deal.
Thanks for the tip Jessica! I had read the Ore-ida Catalina was only through Monday and because it was late Monday when I finished the post I didn't add it. Did you make your purchase after Monday?
ReplyDeleteI still haven't gotten a chance to get to the store. My kids have been sharing a virus this week that has turned my daily schedule upside down. I have got get there to grab some of these deals that all of you ahve been sharing. :)
Hope your family is feeling better soon, and they aren't kind enough to share with mama;-)
ReplyDeleteI got the ore-ida catalina today (Wednesday). I used it on my 2nd transaction, so I can't look to see if there was a date on it.
I had a really good trip to martins. Total before savings was $194.61, total after savings was $73.22, over 60%savings! I also have a milk catalina to use on my next trip. Plus we're now stocked on cereal and ice cream, so kids and hubby will be happy:)
One other deal: careone vitamins are BOGO, and a 50cent off $7.00 health & beauty coupon printed for me at the coupon kiosk. Every little bit helps, especially if it's something you are buying anyway:)
Great job saving Jessica.
ReplyDeleteNow I have to go grab some Ore-Ida - that is a great deal combined with the coupon and the buy 6 get $5 off instantly.
You are right it is always a great feeling to find a coupon for something you were going to buy anyways. :)
My oldest is the last of the kids to get knocked down with the virus, it is just hubby and me who haven't fallen to it. I am hoping that with dilligent hand washing it stays that way. :)
