Check out Money Saving Mom for my MARTIN’S top deals in addition to top deals for other grocery stores, drug stores, and discount stores from other deal seekers.
If an item is part of the weekly fuelperks! deals I list the final price as if you buy the necessary quantity of just that item in order to receive the deal (if you have to buy 7 I list the final price after sale, coupons, and fuel discount as if you bought 7 of that one item). That is not what you have to do in order to receive the fuelperks! rewards. You can mix & match any of the items listed in the same category. This may make you out of pocket higher if you add in items of various cost, but in the long run you are hopefully buying items that your family can use and redeeming your fuelperks! towards saving money at the gas station.
I am including in my match-ups a new e-coupon service called SavingStar. Check out their site for how it works, but in a nutshell it is a free service that you just have to add your store loyalty cards into your account and you are set.
If you are wondering if you can combine e-coupons from SavingStar and paper coupons this is what their site states:
Do SavingStar eCoupons stack with in-store discounts or manufacturer's coupons?
SavingStar eCoupons will work whether or not you combine them with other services' coupons, but they are not intended to be used this way. Generally, manufacturers state that it is against their policies for shoppers to redeem more than one manufacturer's coupon for the same purchase. Using in-store coupons in combination with SavingStar eCoupons is not a problem.
In the future, we may implement mechanisms to limit the combination of SavingStar eCoupons with other manufacturer coupons.
Here are what I consider to be the top deals this week at MARTIN’S. I verify the coupons that I mention with what I receive in my local paper, the Richmond Times-Dispatch (RTD). Coupons are regional so you may not have the exact same coupon or the same face value. Remember what I consider to be a good deal and what you consider to be a good deal may differ. Please feel free to leave me a comment with any deals that you find.

PS – Sorry for the delay in getting this posted. I got knocked down by bronchitis and everything is running behind at our house. Thankfully I broke down and got an antibiotic so hopefully we will be back to “normal” in a day or so. :)
Thank you so much for your post. I look forward to your blog every week.
ReplyDeleteI used to get bronchitis every year after recovering from a cold, but about two years ago, a friend told me to try oil of oregano. It's a natural antiseptic. I haven't been sick since. I take two drops under my tongue everyday. It takes a bit of getting used to, it's kind of strong, but it's awesome! You can get a bottle at GNC. I get the cheaper brand, it's $20 but it lasts over 6 months. If you get sick, you can put a full dropper under your tongue and it'll shorten the life of your cold or bronchitis. Worth a try if you get sick every year.
The Huggies deal on page 8 of circular- spend $25 get $7 off your next order. I used $1.50 off diaper coupons from SS 10/23 and then was delighted when an additional Catalina printed. Buy 3 Huggies diapers get $5 off your next order... So it is possible to have a total of $12 off next trip. Sorry this is a little late to be helpful. I just made it to the store yesterday. Also, the Catalina says thru 11/27 buy 2 Huggies get $3 off next, buy 3 it's $5 and buy 4 or more it's $6 off your next shopping trip.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Stephanie. I may try the oil of oregano. This is the first time in about 3 years that I have really been knocked down by something like this. I think part of my problem is trying to do to much. :)
ReplyDeleteAmara thanks for your awesome tip!
ReplyDeleteThis would be a great donation or shower gift if you don't need diapers for your family. :)
I apologize for posting it so late. I haven't really been home to touch my computer. I was at my church most of the day yesterday (Friday) preparing food for a dinner for about 100 ladies last night and then I ran the HCA VA 8k this morning.
