Click here to view an on-line version of this week’s ad. Click here for information about MARTIN’S coupon policy. The ad and the coupon policy are for the Richmond, VA area. There is the possibility of some variances in other areas.
Check out Money Saving Mom for my MARTIN’S top deals in addition to top deals for other grocery stores, drug stores, and discount stores from other deal seekers.
If an item is part of the weekly fuelperks! deals I list the final price as if you buy the necessary quantity of just that item in order to receive the deal (if you have to buy 7 I list the final price after sale, coupons, and fuel discount as if you bought 7 of that one item). That is not what you have to do in order to receive the fuelperks! rewards. You can mix & match any of the items listed in the same category. This may make you out of pocket higher if you add in items of various cost, but in the long run you are hopefully buying items that your family can use and redeeming your fuelperks! towards saving money at the gas station.
I am including in my match-ups a new e-coupon service called SavingStar. Check out their site for how it works, but in a nutshell it is a free service that you just have to add your store loyalty cards into your account and you are set.
If you are wondering if you can combine e-coupons from SavingStar and paper coupons this is what their site states:
Do SavingStar eCoupons stack with in-store discounts or manufacturer's coupons?
SavingStar eCoupons will work whether or not you combine them with other services' coupons, but they are not intended to be used this way. Generally, manufacturers state that it is against their policies for shoppers to redeem more than one manufacturer's coupon for the same purchase. Using in-store coupons in combination with SavingStar eCoupons is not a problem.
In the future, we may implement mechanisms to limit the combination of SavingStar eCoupons with other manufacturer coupons.
Here are what I consider to be the top deals this week at MARTIN’S. I verify the coupons that I mention with what I receive in my local paper, the Richmond Times-Dispatch (RTD). Coupons are regional so you may not have the exact same coupon or the same face value. Remember what I consider to be a good deal and what you consider to be a good deal may differ. Please feel free to leave me a comment with any deals that you find.

In case you were curious about my scenario on the buy $15 and get a free milk voucher worth up to $4.50 -
I sent Steve out to grab 20 yoplait yogurts plus 2 boxes of granola bars (he got one sweet & salty, and one box of the granola bar thins)
He paid $12 after using the coupons I mentioned in the post, and Monday (10/24) was the last day for the yoplait catalina so I earned a free milk voucher and a $2 oyno catalina.
Anyone else have a scenario?
Hey, Ann! There's a new coupon book called "Fall into Savings" that I found at the John Rolfe store. Inside there is a coupon for $1/1 Krusteaz cookie mix. The cookie mix is included in the "buy $15, get $4 back instantly" promo.
So, the EXTREME couponer could:
buy 9 @ $16.11
use 9 coupons= $7.11
minus $4 off at checkout= $3.11 for 9 cookie mixes, or .35 cents each.
OR~ just use the $1/1 to get the cookie mix for .79. :O)
Do you know what Martin's policy is with regard to combining a BOGO sale with a free coupon?
I have a coupon for a free package of OM selects hotdogs, so if they are included in the BOGO sale and I can combine the sale and coupon, that would be 2 free packages.
Lissa - I just got back from the John Rolfe YMCA and saw those when I was walking in. It has a bunch of great coupons to combine with the spend $15 get $4 off promo on the back page of this week's ad. I am going to try to write a post about it tonight after I finish getting everyone in bed. :)
Jessica I honestly don't know. It may vary by store manager, or even the cashier. I know that I can use a $xx/2 coupon with a BOGO, but I have never tried a coupon for a free product.
Just to make sure you know this - they will not accept an internet printable coupon that has the word "free" on it, but if you got it in the mail from the manufacturer usually it has a hologram on it and they will accept those without any problem.
One last thing - I am not sure the OM Selects are included in the sale, I think it is just meat hot dogs, not the good ones. :)
Couponning FAIL: They do not sell the cookie mix at either John Rolfe or Stony Point. Chesterfield Towne Center only has the Sugar Cookie variety. :O/
I was at John Rolfe tonight, also! Although I wasn't exercising like you.... Maybe sometime we can actually meet! :O)
