MARTIN’S Top Deals for the Week of November 21st

It is finally here – the week of Thanksgiving!  There are lots of great deals that will enable you to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving Day meal for less thanks to combining sales and coupons.

I am sad to see on the front page of the MARTIN’S ad that they are going to be open on Thanksgiving Day until 3PM.  Sure, it is nice that they are closing early, but the employees deserve an entire day off to spend with their families.  (I miss Ukrop’s!)

I was happy to see that MARTIN’S still has their GIANT Brand Turkey on sale this week for $0.29/lb (with a $25 purchase), now I can get my turkey early this week so it can defrost in the refrigerator.  (I am going to try to brine it before I bake it this year.  Any recipes or tips you would like to share are welcomed.)
