MARTIN’S Top Deals for the Week of January 8, 2012

logo_MARTINS

Click here to view an on-line version of this week’s ad. Click here for information about MARTIN’S coupon policy. The ad and the coupon policy are for the Richmond, VA area. There is the possibility of some variances in other areas.

If an item is part of the weekly fuelperks! deals I list the final price as if you buy the necessary quantity of just that item in order to receive the deal (if you have to buy 7 I list the final price after sale, coupons, and fuel discount as if you bought 7 of that one item). That is not what you have to do in order to receive the fuelperks! rewards. You can mix & match any of the items listed in the same category. This may make your out of pocket higher if you add in items of various cost, but in the long run you are hopefully buying items that your family can use and redeeming your fuelperks! towards saving money at the gas station.

Here are what I consider to be the top deals this week at MARTIN’S. I verify the coupons that I mention with what I receive in my local paper, the Richmond Times-Dispatch (RTD). Coupons are regional so you may not have the exact same coupon or the same face value. Remember what I consider to be a good deal and what you consider to be a good deal may differ. Please feel free to leave me a comment with any deals that you find.

I am still sorta new to shopping at martin's. I have a question for the gas deals when it says buy 3 of any earn 40 cents can I buy 6 (3 of one kind and 3 of another) and earn 80 in the same transaction or do I have to make separate transactions.

I also have another question on BOGO Sales can you use 1 or 2 coupons. I can't find nothing in their coupon policy about this.

Thank You

Victoria -

You can buy any combination and increment of 3 of the items listed in the buy 3 earn $0.40/gallon and earn the $0.40/gallon in one transaction. You just have to make sure you have 3,6,9, etc. of those items.

You can combine any of the gas deals in one transaction - just make sure you have the right number of items.

I hope this makes sense. Feel free to send me any more questions.

If the item is on sale for a Buy One Get One Free Sale that is a store promotion I have successfully used two coupons (or a coupon that is for $x off two items). This is sometimes considered a gray area and some store managers may not allow it.

In regards to coupon ethics it is not an issue, you are purchasing two items, the cashier is scanning two barcodes so you can redeem two coupons or a coupon that covers both items. You are just getting a gret deal because of the fact that the store is running a promotion.
