It is a meat and produce week at MARTIN’S

I didn’t make it to church this morning.  Michael had a rough night (I think he may have reflux) and I wanted to go to church tonight for an event.   So, I decided not to push it and stayed home with him while Steve and the girls went to church this morning.
I just got a chance to glance at this week’s MARTIN’S ad on-line and noticed some good prices that I call stock-up prices for meat and some good prices on produce.
  • Value Packs of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (average of 4-5 lbs per package)are $1.79/lb
  • Ground Beef (85/15) Value Packs are $1.99/lb
  • Tote Bag Apples are $0.99/lb
  • California Red Seedless Grapes are $0.88/lb
  • GIANT White Potatoes (1.5 lb bag) are $1.49
  • Fall Squash are $0.79/lb
I will hopefully get a chance to look at the flyer in more detail and see if there are any great deals with coupons.
Happy Shopping!

Whoa!! That is a killer price on the 85/15 meat!! Is it good stuff? It seems like cheaper brands of meat are often cheaper quality - or maybe it's just my picky imagination :P I might spend my meat-week money there this time instead of BJ's!

We just had hamburgers yesterday afternoon with the 85/15 premade hamburgers I found on markdown on Thursday. They tasted yummy and grilled up well.
