MARTIN’S Top Deals for the Week of May 1st

logo_MARTINS

Click here to view an on-line version of this week’s ad. Click here for information about MARTIN’S coupon policy.  The ad and the coupon policy are for the Richmond, VA area.  There is the possibility of some variances in other areas.

Check out Money Saving Mom for my MARTIN’S top deals in addition to top deals for other grocery stores, drug stores, and discount stores from other deal seekers.

Here are what I consider to be the top deals this week at MARTIN’S.  I verify the coupons that I mention with what I receive in my local paper, the Richmond Times-Dispatch (RTD).  Coupons are regional so you may not have the exact same coupon or the same face value.  Remember what I consider to be a good deal and what you consider to be a good deal may differ.  Please feel free to leave me a comment with any deals that you find.

I will be writing a separate post for this week’s fuelperks! REWARDS.

Check back on Thursday for my weekly series - “Menu Planning with the MARTIN’S Ad”.

Ann--I haven't verified this personally, but maybe you've seen or heard of this deal I saw at Fishing For Deals about a Hallmark Card moneymaker. http://fishingfordeals.blogspot.com/2011/05/hallmark-expressions-money-maker.html.

Thanks for the reminder Judi. I intended to write a seperate post about it last night, but got tired and forgot. I have read on-line at Hot Coupon World that the $0.99 cards work for a great money maker - and don't forget that MARTIN'S automatically gives you a 10% discount on the Hallmark cards.

Ann, I found a deal last night but I didn't see it listed in the paper. By the Dole salads there was a little shelf tag that said if you buy 2 Kraft Salad dressings ($1.50/ea) and 2 Dole Salads (2/$5), you will get $2 off instantly at checkout. I did this last night and it worked. So, I got 2 salads and 2 dressings (after using the $1/2 dressing coupon) for $6~ or, think of it as buying the salads and getting the dressings for .50 cents each. I'd be curious if anyone else saw the little signs at their store.....

I didn't walk through the produce section today when I was in the store. Great find! Did you by any chance see an end date for the promotion on the sign?

Also - out of curiosity did you get a Catalina coupon for Dole Salad after you bought two? I bought two Ceasar kits last week (they were 2/$5) and redeemed a $1/2 kits peelie that was on a bag of salad that my mom had at her house. I realized at the end of my transaction when the cashier handed me my receipt it also triggered a $1/2 Dole Catalina coupon.

Yep, I had a Dole Cat from last week (or before?), and I got another one this week. It was for $1/2. I also bought the kits~ not just the lettuce bags. Ironically, it was the Caesar kits, too. :O)

That sounds great! I am working tonight so I will have to check out the produce section and look for more cards after I get off work. :)

It's probably a little late now but if anyone was planning to buy the Crest toothpaste. I found on an endcap a package that had a free trial size attached and $10 in crest coupons. So while the price isn't the BEST it can be the free tube + coupons can make it worth it.
Also if you use Febreeze Noticeables you can buy 1 refill use $1.00/1 and use the FREE Base coupon, on top of that the Base includes a $3.50 Mail-In.
The rest of my found purchases are in this weeks shopping trip http://almostextremecoupon.blogspot.com/2011/05/42400-worth-of-groceries-for-18400.html
