Ukrop's Double Coupon Deals

Because we have been eating out so much recently and I have still been shopping my pantry and freezer are rather full.  This is one reason why I started the "family meal challenge".  I am also only trying to only buy items that are either really, really good deals or items that I am out of.  I have a decent stockpile of meat right now in my freezer so although I did walk through the meat department to see if there were any good markdowns I didn't see anything I wanted to pick-up.

Here is a picture of my groceries.* The pink doll rattle was added thanks to Megan. I think she was trying to swap it out for the donuts. I again apologize for the picture. Steve had the chip to the good camera with him in his laptop so I had to settle for the other camera.

Here is a list of what I got (prices are after sales & coupons):
Charmin Toilet Paper (18 rolls) - $7.99
Food Club Apple Cider Vinegar (32 oz) - $1.69
Hostess Chocolate Donuts - $1.10
(2) Nature Valley Granola Bars - $1.19 each
(2) No Yolks Noodles - $0.49 each
(2) Quaker Instant Oatmeal - $0.49 each
Sauer's Parsley Flakes - $1.99
(2) SoftSoap Antibacterial Soap - 0.19 each
(2) El Montery Tornados - $0.50 each
(2) Red Baron Pizza Singles - $0.50 each
(2) Turkey Hill Ice Cream (1.5 Qt) - $1 each
4 lb bag of Navel Oranges - $3.99
*Yakisoba Maruchan Noodles - -0.20 (money maker)
*Food Club Tomato Sauce - $0.38
3 reusable bag credits - -0.15

*Not Pictured.  I stopped by Ukrop's on our way home from to church Wednesday night to grab the noodles.  I added the tomato sauce to serve as a filler item. (I paid $0.21 including tax for both items!)

Shelf Price (before sales, coupons, tax or bag credits): $72.74
Final Price (before tax, after sales, coupons, and bag credits): $25.51
Total Savings: $47.23 (65%)

Just found your site. Have you consider posting where you get the coupons from to help other find these deals?

Hi Nora - I am glad you found my site. I do weekly coupon match-ups for Ukrop's. I generally have them posted by Tuesday evening so you can gather your coupons together to hit double coupon Wednesday. I generally title those post "Coupon Match-Ups for Double Coupon Wednesday at Ukrop's". I use the standard coupon abbreviations for the Sunday paper coupon inserts and I also try to provide links for any internet printables available. If you have any more questions just let me know. :)

I forgot to tell you that I found a closeout deal at "my" Ukrops. The 38 count Hefty 13 gal drawstring bags for 3.99 combined with a .55/1 on a Wednesday made for a pretty good deal on some trash bags. Hope that helps someone else.
