Wednesday Shopping Adventure – Part I

Megan and I visited MARTIN’S this morning while Natalie was at preschool.  I really needed to pick-up a few things because Natalie’s preschool was having an end of the year picnic and I didn’t have any bread for sandwiches and decided I would pick-up some extra snacks for the picnic.

I also wanted to check out some of the deals that I was unsure of the price of in my last post.  I noticed when I was walking into the store that at the entrance where there was a pile of sale ads there was a disclaimer saying that the Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap System was misprinted.  The ad read Buy 1 Get 1 Free.  The disclaimer stated that it should have been advertised as on sale for $9.99 each.  I have edited my spreadsheet to reflect the change.

I did pretty good at MARTIN’S today.  It really helped that I was able to use some of the coupons that were mailed out to Richmond residents this week.  I also redeemed a Catalina for $2 off my next purchase I received Sunday night when I got off work and bought 3 packages of Sure-Jell so that we could make strawberry jam.  (I’ll talk about that in another post.)

Here is a picture of my purchases and the breakdown of my shopping trip (with my shopping partner):
