MARTIN’S Kraft Foods Buy $25 Get $7 off Instantly

Did you see this on the back page of this week’s MARTIN’S ad?

This is a great way to stock-up on some of your favorite Kraft items and save a little extra.  There is some fine print with this deal.  (Isn’t there always?)  You must buy $25 worth of participating Kraft products in one transaction.  The $25 is calculated based on the sale prices (that is what they mean when they say after discounts).  You can only get $7 off in one transaction, if you are planning on buying enough to hit $50 after sale prices break it up so that you get the $7 off of each.

Here are the participating items and any available coupons:

  • Kraft Cool Whip Topping – $1
  • Planters Peanut Butter (28oz)– $2.99
    • $0.75/1 from 8/21 SmartSource
  • Kool-Aid Jammers 10 pack – $1.88
  • Capri-Sun 10 Pack – $2
  • Crystal Light Drink Mix – $2
  • Crystal Light On The Go Sticks – $2
  • MiO Liquid Water Enhancer – $3.79
  • Kraft Singles Individually Wrapped Cheese Slices (10.7-12oz)– $2.50
  • Kraft Deluxe or Homestyle Macaroni & Cheese – $2
  • Jell-O Ready-to-Eat Dessert – $2.50
  • Stove Top Stuffing Mix – $1.50
    • $0.50/1 from 9/11 SmartSource
  • Kraft Velveeta (16oz) – $3.49

  • Nabisco Favorites Lunch Box Tray Pack – $4.99
  • Nabisco Oreo or Nutter Butter Cookies – $2.99

I am excited about the peanut butter.  I didn’t find any great deals with back to school and my supply is lower than I like to have it.  The price seems a little high, but it is a larger container.

This is the deal scenario that I think I am going to pick-up:

  • (6) Planters Peanut Butter = $17.94
  • (5) Stove Top Stuffing = $7.50
  • Subtotal = $25.44
    • Get $7 off instantly
    • Redeem (6) $0.75/1 Planters Peanut Butter Coupons = (-$4.75) (only the first one will double to $1)
    • Redeem (5) $0.50/1 Stove Top Coupon = (-$3) (only the first one will double to $1)
  • Final Price = $10.69 (a 58% savings!)

The peanut butter will help fill my pantry and I will hold onto the stuffing for a donation to a local food bank – it is a win-win for everyone.

added 9/28/11 – Jessica sent me a note to let me know that the Planters Nut Bars are included in the sale.  I completely overlooked that – Thanks Jessica!  If you use the coupons that go with the Planters Nut Bars it can be a great deal.

Happy Shopping!

Thanks Ann! I was hoping you would have this post up before I left today so I could double check my list!

According to the ad the Planter's Nut bars are also part of the promotion. There have been coupons in two different inserts for the Big Nut Bars. I'm going to Martin's this afternoon, so I'll check it out and make sure it all matches up.

I'll share my transaction later.

Thanks Jessica! I completely overlooked that in the ad. You are right there were coupons that are valid until 10/31 in the 7/24 and 9/18 SmartSource inserts. I added it to the posts and a scenario if you have enough coupons from the two inserts - it is a great deal!

Here's my transaction:
8 boxes Big Nut Bars = $20.00
(Redeemed (8) $0.75/1 coupons)
1 box Stove Top Stuffing = $1.50
(Redeemed (1) $0.50/1 coupon)
1 Maxwell House coffee = $3.50
(Redeemed (1) $1.00/1 coupon from Kraft Feeding America coupon booklet-this was from a $1 donation at checkout a few weeks ago)
Subtotal= $25.00
Instant Discount= $7.00
Coupons= $8.00
Final Price= $10.00

Note: It appears that none of my Planter's coupons doubled, I don't remember if they said "not to be doubled" on the coupon, but they all beeped, so I'm not sure if the cashier correctly entered them. Even so, $10.00 was a great price!

Great job Jessica! I checked my Planters coupons and they didn't say do not double, so it could have been something to do with the cashier having to add them manually. You are right $10 is a great price - that is a 60% savings!
